PPM 300 EMF - 08/2025 - DK Fundamentals

This course helps you use the DEIF PPM 300 controller in basic marine applications and introduces you to the principles of energy management. It is designed for engineers, service technicians, and maintenance personnel.

Course objectives

• You will understand fundamental energy management principles
• You will learn about the functionality and capabilities of the PPM 300 controller
• You will gain hands-on experience with installation and configuration of the PPM 300 controller
• You will develop troubleshooting skills for common issues related to the PPM 300 controller

Course format

Tuition will take place in a classroom setting using a combination of presentation materials and fully functional control hardware. The DEIF Academy offers purpose-built control panels for hands-on exercises that enhance your training experience.

Prerequisites

You should have a basic understanding of generators and power generating systems, but you do not need any prior experience of DEIF and our products, and you do not need to complete any DEIF courses prior to this one. You must bring a laptop computer where you can install DEIF configuration software.
